Course Objective	Comprehend the Turkish poem that includes the examples from the beginning of the Turkish Republic till today with the basic features and fundamental drifts and groups (such as Memleket şiiri, Yedi Meşaleciler, Dergahçılar, Garipçiler, Toplumcular, II. Yeniciler etc)
Course Content	This course studies the literary period between Tanzimat and Republic era. It examines the main literary movements such as Tanzimat (The Reforms), Interim Generation, Servet-i Funun (Fortune of Sciences), Fecr-I Ati (Dawn of the Future), National Literature.
