Course Objective Dimensions of interaction in Ceramic Art of Medieval Anatolia and Neighbouring Cultures will be examined from the aspects of Ceramic style and technology. The Ceramic findings from the excavations of Medieval sites, Ceramic works in Museums and Collections will be disscussed. Ceramic centers that are stylistically the most distinctive in interactions and the defining factors in Ceramic ornamentation will be investigated. Especially Tile production centers, tile production techniques, origins and application places of new techniques during the periods of Anatolian Seljuks and Ottomans will be focussed.
