Course Objective The aim of course is focus on the use of materials and construction techniques of Anatolia Seljuk, Emirates and historical buildings built in the Ottoman period, which vary by region. In addition, materials and application techniques will be examined periodically, based on these dating methods will be discussed. Research the reasons for the first time in Anatolia will be interpreted and shaped the development of Ottoman art. The beginning of the Ottoman Empire until the mid-span regions of the growth period, the plan schemes of works of art, will be explained in comparison with their counterparts.
Course Content Time of the establishment of the Ottoman Empire in Anatolia in mind the political and cultural structure of the transferred information about the art scene. Ottoman Art from the onset of the formation of the first factors, self-similar and different aspects of the previous art, in the development of their own will be explained with examples. Also in terms of architectural and decorative art of the Early Ottoman Ottoman Art of Classic made a general assessment of the effect will be discussed.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to have opinion about the general features of Seljuk art, shaped in Anatolia.
2Will be able to explain the general characteristics of the architecture in the time of Emirates in Anatolia.
3Will be able to examine emergence of the Ottoman art environment, shaped by the cultures in Anatolia before the Ottomans, the effects of self, the environment and the impact of the Ottoman art of cultures that takes shape as the basic criteria.
4Will be able to examine the status during the establishment of the Ottoman Empire in Anatolia, material selection, effects of Seljuks as a great civilization.
5Will be able to recognize the Emirates under the rule of the Ottoman Empire during the growing effects of Ilkhanid art and architectural works in this direction.
6Will be able to evaluate the Byzantine's status and its effects of Ottoman art during the establishment of the Ottoman Empire.
7Will be able to evaluate the Early Ottoman period of Anatolia and the Balkans, the overall assessment of the architectural structures.
8Will be able to evaluate the early works of Ottoman architecture, materials and resources to resolve problems with comparing its contemporaries.
9Will be able to recognize the process of entering the stage of development of Ottoman art.
10Will be able to explain how the momentum gained during the development of Ottoman art.
