Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide a clear information about the problems of Human Philosophy.
Course Content The aim of this course is to evaluate the problems of human philosophy from the perspectives of philosophy, religion and science. What is a human being? What is the difference between human beings and other beings? Is it a structural difference or a difference of degree? What is a human being as a spiritual being, a person, or possibility (ies)? The scope of human philosophy; the historical development of human thought; the human evaluation of philosophical anthropology and similar issues. In this context, views of these thinkers will be examined: M. Scheler, K. Jaspers, J. P. Sartre, F. Nietzsche, H. Bergson, K. Marx, M. Heidegger, S. Kierkegaard, Mawlana, T. Mengüşoğlu, H. Z. Ülken and others.
