Course Objective The aim of this course is to examine the two views which are called utopian-international approach, related with the international law in the discussions of contemporary philosophy of law, and national-realist approach as the basic terms of the history of philosophy. Within this direction, related with this topic the theories of the theoretician of the first approach, Kant, and the theoretician of the second approach, Hegel, will be examined and finally, in order to understand and evaluate the current debate, the ideas of Kant and Hegel will be explored whether they function as a catalyst or not.
