Course Objective To gain knowledge about the Helenistic period political,social and economic and also to know ceramic manufacturing,groups, typology and chronology.to gain idea about the publications and studyings concerning with Helenistic period ceramics,moreover,both to know foundlings which were invented from the Helenistic centers in Anatolia and to compare centers.
Course Content Hellenistic pottery shapes, their production process, production centers and chronological problems will be discussed. The important Hellenistic centers in Mainland Greece, Italy, Anatolia and their pottery will be evaluated by comparisons.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Learn the historical, especially the economic structures of Hellenistic period.
2Learn the technique, form, development and group of Hellenistic Period ceramics
3Learn the important Anatolian centers ant potteries from the Hellensitic Period.
4Make comparisons with other centers.
