Course Objective The interpretation of social and cultural life in Western Asia Minor in the life of ancient artifacts found in excavations. Ancient History of Science Branch in connection with the interpretation of effects the historical developments on social life.
Course Content The social life will be defined according to ancient writers and archaeological data. The economy and commerce in cities and their reflections in social life will be discussed.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Determination of historical geography of Western Asia Minor.
2Determining the historical developments on the region with the help of Ancient History Science Branch.
3Based on ancient sources, and the excavation findings, determining the social and cultural development of the region.
4The assessment-criteria for Western Anatolia practise for the other regions and cultures and thus forms the basis of discipline the implementation of the new emerging Ethnoarcheology.
