Course Objective Many excavations in West Anatolia have been focusing on architectural restorations in addition to excavations during recent years. The aim of this course is to explain the content, aim and technics of architectural restorations applied West Anatolia ancient cities. Moreover, different restoration technics and their reason will be determined with examples.
Course Content This course covers the restorations in Western Anatolia in 60’s and collecting the publication about those works and evaluating the sites in-place.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Teach the history and development of restoration works.

4Explain different technics and their reasons applied different fields.
5Give comparative information about several restorations works, which practiced in Anatolia.
