Course Content Curriculum Development in Social Studies Education course contains the information and the skills of basic fundamentals in curriculum development; the requirements of curriculum development; varieties of curriculum; historical, philosophical, psychological, economical and social fundamentals of the curriculum development; elements of the curriculum development objectives, content, teaching-learning process, evaluation; models of curriculum development; approaches of designing curriculum development, curriculum development process, classifying the objectives by categories, determining and writing both the basic and behavioral objectives; selecting and organizing the content; planning the teaching and testing conditions; new approaches in curriculum development and preparing practical project of curriculum.
