COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students learn the theoretical knowledge about the origin and evolution of geography education.
2Students gain information how to teach geography education in modern societies.
3Students discuss from a critical perspective the status of the geography education in today's Turkey.
4Students evaluate what new trends in geography education in modern societies, and discuss the applicability of the new trends in geography education in our country.
5Students prepare a research paper including their own opinion and asessment about the new trends in geography education by reviewing the past related scientific research.
6Students acquire the knowledge and ability of how to present effectively their prepared research project to the class.
