Course Objective Behavior guidance is to help children develop internal control to behave appropriately in all social environments such as school, classroom and playground. The aim of this course is to examine brain development and behavior, theoretical foundations of guiding children's behavior, factors affecting children's behavior, helping children learn positive behaviors and preventing the occurrence of behavioral problems. In addition, it is aimed to apply and assess ways to support positive behaviors and prevent negative behaviors.
Course Content Brain development and behavior, theoretical foundations of guiding children's behavior, factors affecting children's behavior, facilitating the learning of positive behaviors, preventing negative behaviors: Physical environment, routines, transitions, classroom rules and role of families in guiding behavior.
