Course Objective The assessment of development and learning course aims to enable early childhood education teachers to acquire developmental assessment skills. Assessment is critical in improving early childhood education, supporting the development of children and ensuring cooperation among families. Alternative evaluation processes such as tools observation forms, rating scales, checklists, rubrics, portfolio, dynamic and play-based assessment for developmental assessment in children will be examined within the scope of this course, where theory and practice will be discussed together. Standard assessment tools, program and self-assessment studies will be included in the course.
