Course Objective	The aim of this course is to support the skills of engaging various arts activities into early childhood education program, to orient the children towards arts, and to follow their artistic development. It is also aimed to examine and evaluate the theoretical and practical studies both in Turkey and world related to determining the artistic and aesthetic development of children and to dealing with different art fields within the preschool education program with an interdisciplinary approach.
Course Content	1. Basic concepts and definitions related to arts and aesthetics (Visual arts, music, dance, drama) 2. Arts development in early childhood 3. The relationship between arts and development 4. The role of the educator in arts activities 5. Evaluating the arts activities and approaching the child 6. The place of arts in the education program 7. Organizing the environment for arts 8. Displaying and sharing art works 9. Arts education programs implemented in the world and Turkey 10. Arts education program preparation
