Course Objective Today, social life is in a rapid and continuous change as it has never been in history. This versatile and rapid change affects educators (researchers, teachers, etc.) as well as every individual. For that reason, in the proposed course, it is aimed to discuss the effectiveness of the profession in the context of the components of psychological well-being and related theoretical frameworks.
Course Content 1. Basic concepts (Eudemonia, Psychological well being-adult-child, subjective well-being, psychological resilience, proficiency in profession-teacher competencies, personality, healthy development, adaptation, normality-abnormality.) 2. WHO General statistics for healt 3. Being a sensitive parent-teacher 4. Psychological well-being models 5. Personality theories and psychological well-being 6. Theories of happiness and psychological well-being 7. Normality-Abnormality related theoretical frameworks 8. Personality disorders 9. Professional competencies, occupational effectiveness frameworks and related variables 10. Well-being and effectiveness-related research 11. Designing teacher psychological well-being and effectiveness models
