COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Master's Degree

Course Objective The curriculum of Turkish education, teaching methods, the ways of providing effective reading and understanding and the ways of evaluation of reading, speaking, writing, listening and understanding will be given.
Course Content Improving the reading skills, listening comprehension and understanding, identification of reading obstacles and finding out solutions, the structure of the chapters chosen for reading, reading and writing between different kinds of chapters, types of written data and questioning them, improving the critical idea through reading and writing techniques for fast reading, teaching the main idea and ways of finding it out, targets of reading, types and principles of reading, grading reading, writing, listening and understanding, Turkish program and relation research.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students recognize the Turkish language teaching course program (grades 1-5).
2Students describe basic principles of the course.
3Students make evaluations related to the teaching-learning process.
4Students make evaluations related to the intertextual reading process
5Students evaluate current reading approaches from a scientific point of view
6Students practice current speech types
7Students practice current writing types
8Students have the knowledge related to the method and techniques used in Turkish language teaching and conducts sample activities.
9Students conduct literate review on Turkish language teaching in elementary education
10Students identify research topics considering the recent studies on Turkish language teaching.
11Students prepare a research article draft related to Turkish language teaching
