Course Objective The aim of this course is to explain the development, aims and importance of children's literature in the world. The aim of this course is to provide a comparative examination of the quality of children's literature products, scientific studies in the field of children's literature and children's libraries.
Course Content Examining the development of children's literature in the world and Turkey, An evaluation of the importance and aims of children's literature, Discussion of the children's literature products suitability for children, An examination of the types of children's literature and the comparison of products in the field of children's literature (fairy tale, poem, story, rhyme, etc.) in different countries. An evaluation of quality in children's literature products (physical, visual, literary)The evaluation of the research done in the context of children's literature, Examination of children’s literature authors and their works in our country and different country. Examination of children's libraries in the context of accessibility to children's literature products.
