Course Objective To comparatively examine the works of art produced in the Mesopotamian and Anatolian basins from the Byzantine and Roman periods to the present; To create the basis for understanding the culture and art codes of other civilizations and communities that have been affected by the works of art produced by these civilizations throughout history in the context of cultural continuity.
Course Content Art works produced in the Mesopotamian and Anatolian basins from the Byzantine and Roman periods to the present will be examined comparatively. The cultural and artistic products of other civilizations and communities affected by the works of art produced by these civilizations in the context of cultural continuity will be discussed.
