Course Objective Constitute selected works from the artworks of Turkish and world repertoire and reach listeners in the concert repertory.
Course Content Forming repertoire from Turkish and Western classical music in relation to music teaching.Improving the capacity of expression,understanding,listening and creation through music; distinguishing the differences and similarities between the Turkish and Western music; the place of Turkish music in the world music; improving the musical sensivity,thinking interpretation and creativity; perception of the fact that music is the only common language in the world; perception of the basic concepts and language of music; creating a repertory containing the Works of contemporary Turkish and classical Western music; efficient use of time; taking responsibility as an individual or in group; acquiring the habit of working in a disciplined manner; representation in national and international music activities; improving the concept of national unity and conscience; getting the habit of following the related music activities; perceiving the opinions of Atatürk related to the contemporary Turkish music.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Gains knowledge of forming a repertory of chamber music pieces from modern Turkish music and universally accepted pieces.
2Gains knowledge of performing chamber music by way of performing the mentioned repertory.
3Follows the literature about chamber music.
4Becomes able to perform duets, trios etc. with a group.
