Course Objective To mention the concept of mythology, which is one of the most important cultural treasures of a nation, and important studies on this subject; It aims to grasp the main lines of Turkish mythology, which has a very rich material, and to have information about the iconography as well as the important points that make up the Turkish mythology.
Course Content The content of this course consists of two parts. The first part of the course consists of the basic concepts of mythology, mythological schools and theories. The second part of the course consists of the content and characteristics of Turkish mythology, as well as some elements such as iconography, number, color, animal, which have an important place in Turkish mythology, and their reflections on art.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to explain the scope, method and basic concepts of mythology.
2They will learn the important features of Turkish mythology and will have the ability to interpret these works with the reflection of various mythological subjects on art.
3Will have detailed information about iconography and especially Turkish Mythology iconography.
