New media art can be considered as one of the most dynamic fields that meet these developments. New production possibilities, perspectives, interaction relations and forms are realized by adapting the developments in science and technology by the artists. Although it is fed by previous developments such as painting, sculpture, print, photography, kinetics, cinema and video that prepared it, new media art is seen as open to many developments today, since it has passed the experimental stage and started to spread. In the light of this information, the emergence of New Media Art, the theoretical and practical dimension of New Media Art, the examination of digital and electronic art, video art, glitch art, bioart, ecological art and similar art types within the scope of New Media Art, in Turkey and in the World.
