Course Objective The aim of the course is to enable students to realize the place and importance of out-of-school learning environments in visual arts education and to gain experience through sample applications in these environments. To recognize out-of-school learning environments and to gain the ability to organize these environments to support learning, to recognize methods and techniques suitable for out-of-school teaching environments, to gain the ability to plan, implement and evaluate out-of-school learning activities in line with the acquisition.
Course Content To examine teaching methods, techniques and materials for understanding the scope of out-of-school learning, to examine out-of-school learning environments (museums, science centers, zoos, botanical gardens, planetariums, industrial organizations, national parks, science festivals, science camps, natural environments, etc.); planning, implementation and evaluation of out-of-school learning activities.
