Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach how to make teacher lectures necessary for conducting research-inquiry-based science teaching in science, and to apply sample lesson plans for the use of dialogic discourse in the process of an explanation and argument in science classrooms.
Course Content Introducing the science program, inquiry-based science teaching, communicative approach in science courses, sample science lesson designs and classroom applications for the use of each communicative approach prepared by Mortimer and Scott (2003) in the course series will be emphasized how productive class discourse can be.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Learn diologic communicative approaches used in science classes.
2Construct the class norms required for the use of the dialogic communicative approach.
3Creates and applies an exemple science lesson design on the use of the dialogic communicative approach.
4Creates a collective, cumulative, reciprocal, supportive, and contextual learning environment for students to engage in new information they encounter.
5Gives students the opportunity to ask and comment on the ideas and issues that arise in the lessons.
6By facilitating and moderating classroom debate, ensure inclusion of students with different backgrounds and dispositions to share their diverse viewpoints.
7Understands the role of diologic communicative approaches in science classes to raise individuals who can think critically, solve problems and interrogate.
