COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to improve the knowledge and skills of science teachers on the use of information and communication technologies in education, which have been used frequently in recent years. In the course, besides the theoretical information about information technologies, specific to science education, applications will be carried out.
Course Content 1. Expresses the theoretical foundations of information technologies. 2. Interprets the edited (revised) taxonomy of Bloom. 3. Social Networks, Wikis, Animations, Learning objects, etc. Explains by giving an example of using Web 2.0 applications in education. 4. Express and illustrate the concepts of virtual communication, information literacy and media literacy. 5. Uses concept mapping, virtual reality, virtual field trips, science video archives, science education blogs and educational software for science education purposes. 6. Uses and evaluates robotics, smart (interactive) boards and similar teaching technologies and materials for the purposes of the course. 7. Knows learning management systems and explains usage area. 8. Plan the use of science e-magazines and bulletins, Graphic Editors for lecture purposes. 9. Knows and explains the process of preparing slow transition animation. 10. Closely follows and interprets developments related to instructional technology.
