Course Objective The aim of this course is to help students understand the nature, history and philosophy of science and learn how to use these concepts in science education. The history and nature of science is an integral part of science education and science literacy in recent years.

Philosophical Movements and Their Effects on the Development of Science; History of Inventions; 5. The Nature of Scientific Concepts; 6. Scientific Information and Features; 7. Scientific Inquiry; 8. Science and Society

5Scientific method: Applies scientific thought and scientific inquiry.
6Science and society: Gives examples of the sociology and anthropology of science.
