Course Objective The aim of this course is to develop fundamental statistical and probabilistic knowledge, thinking and reasoning of mathematics teachers in connection with statistics and probability concepts taught in school mathematics.
Course Content The basic elements of statistics, statistical problem solving process, the concept of distribution, measures of central tendency, measures of variability, five-number summary, boxplot, sample and sampling, statistical inference, probability theory, modeling probability events and conducting simulations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
