Elective
Course Objective
The aim of this lesson is to have ability of construction simulation through mathematical models of several real life situations in two and three dimensional environmental with ability of using mathematics software acquired in lesson of designing dynamic and interactive mathematics learning environment. Thus, it is aimed to strength the idea that mathematics is a modeling tool for real life.
Course Content
Designing the studies on GeoGebra and constructing mathematical models from these designing such as rolling a wheel, creating a curve of conic sections, calculating height of an object by an inclinometer, pivoting a curve and a region, representing areas of regions that curves and curves' lengths construct with the method of exhaustion, objects' expansion on plane, examining the situations by intersection each other and exposing various transformations. Researching the effect relations between simulations of real life situations on virtual environment and mathematical models on learning mathematics.
