Course Objective The aim of this course is to show mathematics teachers how Euclid’s first five postulates changes in elliptical and hyperbolic surfaces and make them calculate the Gaussian Curvature of these surfaces. Besides, to generate models in elliptical and hyperbolic spaces.
Course Content Sum of the interior angles of a triangle in different spaces, Euclid’s first five postulates, The Gaussian Curvatures of surfaces, Euclid’s first five postulates in elliptic space, Euclid’s first five postulates in hyperbolic space, models in Elliptic and hyperbolic spaces
