Course Objective The aim of this lesson analyse the process of solving various real life problems with mathematical modeling strategy by providing an understanding the relationship between mathematical modeling approaches and problem-solving strategies.
Course Content Mathematical modeling process and the property of mathematical modeling process. Examining the relationship between problem-solving and mathematical modeling. Modeling and analyzing of problem situations selected from real life by using various modeling strategies. Strategies and techniques associated with the use of mathematics in solving real-life problems. The use of observation, experiment, simulation, computer and various technologies in mathematical models of events. Modeling mathematical concepts, relations, theories by using physical objects, picture, figure, computer, calculator etc.
