Course Objective The aim of this lesson is, to teach basic function of education management, models of supervision and to do practises.
Course Content Introduction: the development of educational administration, the principal and the school, the principals as formal leaders in schools, the ministry of turkish education central organization, the social context of leadership (elements of school organizations), the school as a moral community, process of management, motivation, commitment, and the teachers workplace, the development of human resources, definitions of professional expertise and professional practice, principals’ ınfluence on student and school outcomes, current ıssues in educational administration.
