Course Objective It is aimed in this course, presenting issues contain objective analysis and basic principles of develop test, understanding how validity and reliability studies is done and doing applications of these tests.
Course Content Course Schedule • Week 1: General and specific objectives in science curriculums • Week 2: Key Factors and Policies for the determination of the targeted behaviors • Week 3: Taxonomic Approaches to Target Finding • Week 4: Assessment and evaluation in science education • Week 5: Measurement of cognitive learning, Measuring affective learning and the Measurement of Changes in psychomotor • Week 6: Process evaluation and alternative evaluation • Week 7: Types of measuring instruments, written exam, interview and observation form preparation • Week 8: Multiple choice tests • Week 9: Required qualifications for measurement tools • Week 10: Planning, Designing and Developing the Achievement Tests and Other Assessment and Evaluation Instruments • Week 11: Planning tests to line with the objective and create questions • Week 12: Doing item analysis and make usable the test • Week 13: Statistical procedures on the the test and validity and reliability of test instruments • Week 14: Developing test by concept maps

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To express the general and specific objectives of science education
2Becoming more aware of the basic factors in determining the target behaviors
3To be aware of taxonomical approaches used in determining objectives
4Know and apply the measurement and evaluation approaches used in science education.
5Knows and can apply the measurement methods related to cognitive and affective and psychomotor learning behaviors.
6Knows what evaluation process is and and how to apply
7Knows all kinds of varieties of measurement tools and can prepare the appropriate measurement tool.
8Can create multiple choice tests
9Can create subject specific appropriate test items and can use statistical methods that can shape as usable them
10Can prepare valid and reliable scales at the end of the course
