COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To teach ecological approach and ecological planning in the management of natural resources, to examine the effects of ecological problems on natural ecosystems, to produce solutions to ecological problems.
Course Content 1. General concepts of introduction and applied ecology 2. Natural resources and management 3. Ecological problems that put pressure on natural resources, population growth, environmental pollution, 4. Energy, carbon balance and global climate change 5. Land use and ecological effects 6. Ecological sensitivity, ecologically sensitive regions and ecosystems 7. People and ecosystems 8. Problems awaiting humanity 9. Potentials of ecosystems to reduce ecological problems (specific to global warming) 10. Global warming and forests 12.Applied ecology and natural resource management 13. Environmental impact assessment 14. Ecological approaches in the management of forest ecosystems 15. Protection of natural resources

1 To learn general concepts about introduction and applied ecology

5To learn what are the land use and ecological effects. Knows ecological sensitivity, ecologically sensitive regions and ecosystems.
6Find out what are people and ecosystems. Knows what are the problems waiting for humanity. Knows the potential of ecosystems to reduce ecological problems (in particular global warming).
