MMLM 546THERMOMECHANICAL INVESTIGATION OF WELDING3 + 01st Semester7,5

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Master's Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective Within the scope of the course, it is one of the objectives of the course to explain and interpret the metallurgical events that arise during the welding process. The ability to explain metallurgical events in a healthy way depends on knowing the temperature distribution in the source and its surroundings. For this reason, it is another aim of the course to examine the heat distribution at the moment of welding depending on the welding method used.
Course Content General properties of heat cycle and heat distribution, properties of welding basic processes, deformation and stresses after welding, metallurgical investigation of welding, properties of metallurgical investigation of welding, macro investigation of welding, micro investigation of welding, formation of melting time, formation of chemical composition of welding metal, physico-chemical of elements behavior, Effect of gaseous environmental environment, Effect of hydrogen, Effect of solid environment, Change of chemical composition during melting, Solid phase transformations at the source's heating and cooling stage, Change of structures, Change of composition, Melting time ,, Isomorphic non-transformational biphasic alloys ,, Prevention of isomorphic transformation , Hardening and cold breakage in welding of steels, Hardening factors during welding, Results of hardening at the moment of welding, Cold breakage, Welded in welded steel structures Color, Heat treatments in steel welds, Purpose and use of heat treatments, Stress relief and / or Annealing
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
