Students will learn traditional manufacturing methods. non-traditional metal processing methods; Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal and chemical methods. Advanced plastic forming methods, hot isostatic pressing. Hydroforming, Rollforming magnetic wave forming. Powder metallurgy and advanced ceramic parts manufacturing. surface treatment of metals. to understand surface chemistry, surface hardening methods, surface coatings, plasma assisted surface processes

Traditional manufacturing methods. Non-traditional metal processing methods; Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal and chemical methods. Advanced plastic forming methods, hot isostatic pressing.
