Course Objective In this course mass production methods and principles of beneficial insects and mites (Acarina, Thysanoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Neuroptera, and Hymenoptera) which are used for “biological control” approach will be discussed.
Course Content The scientific study of insects and mites, especially studies to investigate on their biological and ecological features which needs basic information on mass rearing techniques of the organism. We also need to know mass rearing techniques for Biological control approach in the pest control programs.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
