Course Objective In this course, it is aimed to give knowledge about the mixture formation in gasoline and diesel engines and their effects on the emissions.
Course Content Fuel system for diesel and spark ignition engines, atomization, spray formation, evaporation, droplet size distribution, effect of combustion chamber geometry on mixture formation. Direct injection SI engines, Combustion chamber types for CI engines, effect of injection parameters on mixture formation.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
