Course Objective This course introduces the students to the types of electric motors used in electric and hybrid electric vehicles, their working principles and the design techniques of power electronic circuits that control these motors.
Course Content Types of electric and hybrid vehicles and their working principles. Battery technology and battery management systems in electric vehicles. Types and working principles of electric motors used in electric and hybrid vehicles. Driver control techniques and driver design.
