Course Objective To learn the experimental methods used to find the mechanical properties of the composites in the automotive industry.
Course Content Prepare of the test specimen, tensile tests, compression tests, shear tests (interlaminar shear test, intralaminar shear test), flexural tests, fatigue tests, methods for toughness, methods for bearing properties, hardness tests, environmental effects, impact tests (drop test, notch-impact tests).
