Course Objective To gain the ability to recognize and use of the vehicle design parameters.
Course Content Vehicle design and development process, tyres, tyre structure, rolling radius, rolling resistance, forces exerted by tyres, tyre slip, lateral and longitudinal forces, design of suspension system, semi-independent and independent suspension systems, vehicle performance, design of driveline and powerplant, traction force, motion resistances; rolling, hill, aerodynamic, acceleration, driveline, design of brake systems, applications on speed and performance of vehicle.
