Course Objective This lesson's purpose is to build background which necessary to understand and apply 3D drawing elements for 3D parametric CAD programs.
Course Content Introduction to Computer aided design. Drafting techniques. 3D modelling methods. Wire frame modelling, boundary representation modelling. Constructive solid geometry modelling. Solid modelling applications. Primitive solids. Adding, subtracting and intersections of primitives. Obtaining orthogonal views from a solid model. Rendering. Assembly with solid models. CAD graphics standards. Applications.
