Course Objective Investigation of hydrogen energy and its technology, and applications of fuel cells.
Course Content Hidrojen and its properties, use of hydrogen as a fuel and its comparison with the other fuels, fuel cells, fuel cell types, fuel cell chemistry and termodynamics, efficiency values, fuel cell electrochemistry, voltage polarizations, electrod kinetics, fuel cell systems, design of fuel cell stack, energy and exergy analyses of fuel cell systems

1To be aimed that; • Getting informed about energy and energy sources • Investigating reasons of hydrogen use • Learning different production methods of hydrogen • Learning engineering applications during transportation and storage of hydrogen • Getting knowledge about fuel cells and other energy conversion devices • Understanding and learning chemical reactions • Learning preliminary design of fuel cell systems • Understanding efficiency expressions and methods of thermodynamic analyses.
