Course Objective Learning to students deposition properties formation exploration methots mining methot technology using areas of ultrabasic rocks and ores and to determine the contributions of the ores to the economy
Course Content Introduction of ophiolite complex, defination and classification of ultrabasic rocks, distrubition, using areas, ore qualities and borderings of cromite deposits in the world and Turkey, distrubition, ore qualities and borderings of magnesite deposits in the world and Turkey, distrubition of talc deposites in the world and Turkey, using areas, ore qualities and borderings of olivine minerals, using areas, ore qualities and borderings of aspest amyant deposits, useages of ultrabasic rocks as building material from Turkey and the world, ruby and sapphire deposits from Turkey and the world, depositions of platinum group minerals from Turkey and the world, magnetite deposits with ilmenite and titanium, sulphur deposits with copper, nickel and iron. .
