Course Content Introduction, Optimization Algorithms, Use of Heuristic Optimization algorithms in Structural Design Problems, Formulation of the Structural Optimization Problems, Objective Functions and Constraints, Use of Penalty Functions in Constraint Optimization Problems, Example Applications in Structural Engineering
