Course Objective
Simulation is a popular tool for modelling large, complex and stochastic systems which have not closed-form analytical solution. Although computing power has increased dramatically with the new technologies using simulation to find the optimum solution from among several alternative designs remains an important issue for decision makers. The aim of this course is to teach the use of simulation and to introduce the application areas of simulation.
