COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this lecture is to give the graduate students that, the isolation of parasitic animals (especially Helminths) from host organisms, their preparation (staining, measuring, and imaging), and diagnosis techniques in vitro conditions. Preparation of the parasitic protozoans, Platyhelminthes (flatworms: Cestoda, Monogenea and Digenea) Nemathelminthes (roundworms), and Acanthocephala (spiny-headed worms)- isolation and preparation tecniques, Fixed fecal material (helmint eggs) and in permanently stained slides
Course Content The isolation of parasitic animals (especially Helminths) from host organisms, their preparation (staining, measuring, and imaging), and diagnosis techniques in vitro conditions.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to know the Preparation of the parasitic protozoans.
