Course Objective Vision is our most powerful sense and provides us with a remarkable amount of information about our surroundings and enables us to interact intelligently with environment, without direct physical contact. The aim of the course is to teach the methods that give the machines a sense of vision.
Course Content Image formation and image models, image processing, edge detection, reflectance map and photometric stereo

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students will learn the required methods which are used to give the machine a sense of vision.
2Students will learn the basics of image processing.
3Students will have the knowledge about obtaining the depth from 2-D image.
4Student will have the knowledge about interest point detection
5Student will have the knowledge about interest point descriptors and matching.
