Course Objective	The aim of this course is to provide graduate students with a comprehensive and systematic knowledge of national and international databases, to develop research skills to search the literature, to critically appraise scientific studies, to make evidence-based decisions and apply them in practice, to design basic research methods and to report and prepare for publication in accordance with current guidelines.
Course Content	Scientific study design process in nursing, guidelines used in design and reporting, Evidence-based decision making in the design of scientific studies and the use of evidence in the field, Determination of keywords in nursing, Frequently used databases and searching strategies in nursing, Evaluation of scientific studies as a result of literature review, Basic research method in nursing, Institutions and organisations that support the project design of scientific studies in nursing, Preparation of scientific studies for publication and publication process, Citation and reference programmes in scientific studies,
