Course Objective In this course, it is aimed that the student will be able to observe, discuss and interpret the theoretical knowledge and skills learned in the field of Perinatology Nursing in the clinic with a scientific and holistic perspective and make scientific studies that will produce original solutions for the problems he/she has identified.
Course Content This course includes practice of reproduction health, safe motherhood, mother death in Türkiye and World, anatomy and physiology of reproductive system, physical and psychological cahnges in pregnancy, care of birth before, psychosocial adaptation of pregnancy, process and stages of birth action, pain control in birth action, improvment of conception and cenin.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students will be able to handle patients problems by a holistic perspective at perinatology
2Students will be able to discuss new approaches in nursing to solve problems
3Students will be able to understand women’s health problems at perinatology in our country
4Developing and conducting patient education programs for healthy/ill individuals and health professionals in the field of Perinatology or to plan an original research on this topic
5Practice a nursing care plan for a perinatal patient
6Students will be able to gain skills and knowledge of the planing, practice and evoluation for women’s health problems oriented research at perinatology
7Students will be able to prepare a report which include evoluation of the observation and practice related theoretical subjects which they are learned from this course
