Course Objective	In this course, it is aimed that the student will be able to observe, discuss and interpret the theoretical knowledge and skills learned in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing in depth with a scientific and holistic perspective, and to be able to make scientific studies that will produce original solutions for the problems he/she has identified.
Course Content	The situation of women in the world and in Türkiye in the historical process Factors affecting women's health Sexuality and sexual dysfunctions Violence against women Nursing care of women diagnosed with gynecological cancer Problems and nursing care due to deterioration of pelvic support tissues in women Problems experienced by infertile couples Genital tract infections Health and social institutions that women can apply to Menopause and andropause

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Students will be able to handle women’s health problems by a holistic perspective
2	Students will be able to discuss new approaches in nursing to solve problems

4	Students will be able to analyze reflections of the social gender perspective into women’s health
5	Students will be able to understand women’s health problems in our country
6	Students will be able to plan necessary nursing enterprises to solve women’s health problem in our country
7	Students will be able to observe women’s health protection and improvement in clinic according to nursing care principles
8	Students will be able to gain skills and knowledge of the planing, practice and evoluation for women’s health problems oriented research
9	Students will be able to prepare a report which include evoluation of the observation and practice related theoretical subjects which they are learned from this course
