Course Objective
With this course, it is aimed to provide in-depth knowledge of the care principles of intensive care patients undergoing surgery and the roles and responsibilities of intensive care nursing in line with current and evidence-based guidelines.
Course Content
In the course included these issues; features of the intensive care unit, roles and responsibilities of the nurse, hemodynamic monitoring and scoring systems, basic care practices, patient and employee safety, care packages, patient care in mechanical ventilators, informatics-decision support systems, delirium and sleep disorders, care management of the elderly patient, positive intensive care, ethical issues in intensive care.
