Course Objective
This course aims to gain up-to-date and evidence-based in-depth knowledge about the basic concepts related to cancers requiring surgery, the nursing care needs of the individual undergoing oncological surgery, and adaptation to post-survival life.
Course Content
The course includes basic concepts in oncology, cancer screening, diagnosis, staging, non-surgical treatment methods and nursing care, gastrointestinal, respiratory, endocrine, genitourinary, breast, head and neck, musculoskeletal, nervous system cancers, surgery, and nursing care. It also includes the use of traditional and complementary therapies in oncological surgical nursing.
